Accessibility Statement

Purposeful Transitions | Last Updated: March 9, 2026

Purposeful Transitions is committed to ensuring that our services, website, and communications are accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that every person deserves equitable access to life coaching and career transition support, regardless of ability or circumstance.

Our Commitment

We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards for our website. These guidelines help ensure that digital content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for users with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive differences.

Website Accessibility Features

We have taken the following steps to make our website more accessible:

  • Descriptive alt text for images to support screen reader users

  • Keyboard-navigable interface for users who cannot use a mouse

  • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds

  • Clear, consistent page structure with descriptive headings

  • Readable font sizes and resizable text without loss of functionality

  • Avoidance of flashing or strobing content that could trigger seizures

  • Descriptive link text so users understand where links lead

  • Captions or transcripts for video and audio content where applicable

In-Person Services

For clients attending in-person sessions, we are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible environment. If you have specific needs related to physical access, mobility, sensory considerations, or communication preferences, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to make appropriate accommodations.

Virtual Services

Our virtual coaching sessions are conducted via video conferencing platforms. We are happy to accommodate accessibility needs such as:

  • Captioning or transcripts for virtual sessions upon request

  • Flexible session formats (video, phone, or text-based) to suit your communication preferences

  • Providing written summaries or action items following sessions

  • Extended or adjusted session timing as needed

Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our website is designed to be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, as well as screen magnification tools and voice recognition software.

Known Limitations

While we work diligently to maintain accessibility across our website and materials, some third-party content or tools integrated into our site (such as embedded scheduling or payment platforms) may not fully meet accessibility standards. We are committed to working with our vendors to address these gaps and to providing alternative access methods where needed.

Feedback and Assistance

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and services. If you encounter any barriers or have difficulty accessing any part of our content, please reach out to us. We take all accessibility concerns seriously and will work to address them promptly.
